BCSD Families:
Don’t forget: All public schools in New York State will be closed on Wednesday, January 29, for Lunar New Year.
Lunar New Year, celebrated by millions worldwide, is a time for family, reflection, and renewal. It is also an opportunity for us to teach our children the importance of cultural understanding and appreciation.
We encourage you to use this day as an opportunity to learn and celebrate together. Whether your family observes Lunar New Year or not, it is a chance for our students to broaden their perspectives and deepen their appreciation for the richness of the world around them.
To all who celebrate, Happy Lunar New Year and Happy Year of the Snake!
Sincerely,
Jason Smith
Superintendent
